Interscope To Recall Madonna’s 'MDNA World Tour' Blu-ray in U.S., Manufacturing Error Blamed

Interscope Records is recalling every copy of Madonna’s "MDNA World Tour" Blu-ray issued in the United States, blaming an “error in manufacturing” that has compromised the 5.1 audio.
Interscope made the announcement via its Facebook page, after fans took their frustrations at the disc's sound and visual quality to the Internet.
The recall affects only Blu-ray discs issued in the U.S, the record company notes.
It’s unclear how many copies of the Blu-ray have already shipped, though it’s safe the disc has been a big hit on release. The "MDNA World Tour" home video debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Music Video Sales chart last week, selling 11,000 combined DVDs and Blu-rays in the U.S. in its first week on sale. It was good enough to open at No. 1 on the Music Video Sales chart, marking her 10th No. 1 and sixth chart-topper in a row.
The album version of Madonna's "MDNA World Tour" concert video release debuted at No. 90 with 4,000 sold.
