Madonna has signed Rita Ora as the new face of her line, Material Girl , in a £500,000 deal.
16-year-old Lourdes (aka Lola), who allegedly controls much of the creative direction of the teenage-focused brand, instigated the meeting between Ora and Madonna as she is a big fan, having been to many of her gigs.
"They met at the Met Ball in New York last week and Madonna admired Ora's attitude so signed the idea off," a source told The Sun.
"Rita jumped at the chance because she's such a fan of the Queen Of Pop."

Rita Ora is the 4th face of Madonna's fashion label, following Taylor Momsen, Kelly Osbourne and Georgia May Jagger.
