Madonna may not be the original material girl.
A clothing company is suing the fashion-forward entertainer for stealing its trademarked "Material Girl" name for her own brand, TMZ.com reported yesterday.
L.A. Triumph Inc. claims in a federal lawsuit that the "Material Girl" line being marketed by Madonna rips off its own products which have been selling since 1997. Madonna launched the venture in July.
