Owners of Madonna's childhood home will face a judge

The owners of the Rochester Hills home where native Michiganian Madonna grew up say they can't afford to repair its fire damage because their insurance company has not paid the claims on it.
Now, as the Detroit Free Press reports, Tony and Juliet Dedaj will be in court on Thursday and city officials hope they will be ordered to fix up the house.
The Dedajs, however, say they spent $50,000 improving the home but fell on hard times when Tony Dedaj started collecting disability checks when he stopped working. Their mortgage is in default and their insurance company is skeptical over their claims from the July 2008 fire.
The home at 2036 Oklahoma Avenue went up for auction in 2001. However, it was burning up after a suspicious fire in 2008; at the time, fire investigators called it an arson.
